ABOUT IIC
Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India has established ‘Ministry of Education’s (MoE’s) Innovation Cell (MIC) to systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The primary mandate of MIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes while they are in formative years. MIC has envisioned encouraging creation of Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs)’ across selected HEIs. A network of these IICs will be established to promote innovation in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion eco- system in the campuses.

Establishment
It’s our proud privilege to announce that KLE Society’s R. L. Science Institute, Belagavi, Karnataka established Institution’s Innovation Council in the year 2020-21 in accordance with the guidelines of Ministry of Education’s (MoE’s) Innovation Cell (MIC). In addition, until day it has carried out wide spectrum of activities about Innovations, IPR, Entrepreneurship, Startup and many more. Institution's Innovation Council of our institution established in the year Govt. of India. Aims at creating an innovation ecosystem in the RLSI campus and to support faculty, UG & PG students and selected alumni in their quest to explore the world of entrepreneurship. For the same our institute has bagged one star in IIC and Band Beginner in ARIAA.
