It is my pleasure to welcome you to Raja Lakhamagouda Science Institute (Autonomous) inaugurated by the Noble laureate Sir C.V. Raman in 1935. It is one of the premier Institution under the domain of century old KLE Society, an organization dedicated to the welfare of mankind through education, health care, technology etc. RLSI has set itself a vision “Education for Global Excellence”. Over the past eight decades, institution has evolved with a strong blend of heritage infrastructure; state-of-the-art technology and entwined human resource committed to provide updated knowledge through novelty and ingenuity. Degrees in basic sciences are gaining old glories with lucrative career opportunities. The galvanizing environment in RLSI for knowledge integration, origination and diffusion with sagacity of social concern and life values has made a forte among the best science institutes. We are accredited at ‘A’ level by NAAC for the third successive cycle.
RLSI is regularly updating its resources to impart skill based training to the students thereby improving interpersonal and communication skills, entrepreneurial skills. Problem based learning (PBL) and projects complement the innovative teaching learning environment.
There are bounteous scopes in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. The students’talents are encouraged to exhibit at various levels. This makes our students not only well educated but a responsible citizen. We believe that the quality trait is a continuous process and it is our commitment to gain at all levels.
